Eid dates in 2019
There are two Eid festivals celebrated in the Muslim faith:
- Eid Al–Fitr – 4-5th June 2019
At the end of Ramadan fasting, Eid celebrations take the form of family gatherings with lots of food, memorable celebrations and gifts.
- Eid Al–Adha – 11st – 15th August 2019
Festivities start on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah (the last month in the Islamic calendar.) It is also the same month that the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca takes place.

If you need some tips on how to wrap your gifts, we’ve made some You Tube videos starting with the basic and wrapping some trickier items.
Using personalised giftwrap for Eid celebration decorations
We’re a big fan of upcycling and recycling, so we recommend that any surplus giftwrap could be used to decorate Eid cards or personalise some bunting. Simply cut out the words and glue them onto the front.
